ВЕЧНА ВЕРА

Оче наш, Који си на небесима, да се свети Твоје Име; да дође Царство Твоје; да буде воља Твоја и на земљи као на небу. Хлеб наш насушни дај нам данас; и опрости нам дугове наше, као и ми што опраштамо дужницима својим; и не уведи нас у искушење, но избави нас од зла. Амин.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Господе Исусе Христе, Сине Божији, помилуј мене грешнога.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

This prayer is repeated ceaselessly, in the stillness of the heart, uniting the mind with the Name of the Lord, as taught by the Holy Hesychast Fathers. It is the foundation of inner prayer in the Orthodox tradition.

Устав ши из сна, приносим Ти, Спаситељу, нощне молитве, и припадам Ти молећи: дај ми, Боже, и у овај дан без греха сачуван бити, нека ме избавиш од свакога лукавства непријатеља, и сачувај ме да сваку Твоју вољу творим. Амин.

Rising from sleep, I offer Thee, O Saviour, the prayers of the night, and falling before Thee I cry aloud: Grant me, O God, to be kept sinless this day. Deliver me from every snare of the enemy, and guard me that I may do Thy will in all things. Amen.

Господе Боже наш, ако сам Ти у овај дан, делом или речи или помишљу сагрешио, опрости ми; јер ако умрем, уздам се у спасење Твоје и молим за безболну, беспостидну и мирну кончину живота мог. Сачувај ме, Господе, од свакога зла и спаси душу моју. Амин.

O Lord our God, if in this day I have sinned against Thee in deed, word, or thought, forgive me. For if I shall die, I hope in Thy salvation. I pray for a painless, blameless, and peaceful end to my life. Keep me, O Lord, from all evil, and save my soul. Amen.

Богородице Дјево, радуј се, благодатна Марија, Господ је са Тобом; благословена си Ти међу женама, и благословен је плод утробе Твоје, јер си родила Спаситеља душа наших.

Rejoice, O Virgin Theotokos, Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, for thou hast borne the Saviour of our souls.

Верујем уједнога Бога, Оца Свемогућег, Творца неба и земље, и свега видљивог и невидљивог. И у Господа Исуса Христа, Сина Божијег Јединородног, Који је од Оца рођен пре свих векова: Светлост од Светлости, Бога истинитог од Бога истинитог, рођеног, не створеног, јединосушног Оцу, Кроз Кога је све постало. Који је ради нас људи и ради нашег спасења сишао с небеса, и оваплотио се од Духа Светога и Марије Дјеве, и постао човек. И распет би за нас за времена Понтија Пилата, и страда, и би погребен. И васкрсе у трећи дан, по Писму. И узиђе на небеса, и седи с десне стране Оца. И опет ће доћи са славом да суди живима и мртвима, Његовом царству неће бити краја. И у Духа Светога, Господа, животворећег, Који од Оца исходи, Коме се заједно с Оцем и Сином клањамо и Га славимо, Који је говорио кроз пророке. И у Једну, Свету, Саборну и Апостолску Цркву. Исповедам једно крштење за опроштење грехова. Чекам васкрсење мртвих. И живот будућега века. Амин.

I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages: Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten not made, of one essence with the Father, through Whom all things were made. Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and became man. He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered, and was buried. And He rose on the third day according to the Scriptures. And He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father. And He shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom shall have no end. And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who together with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified, Who spoke through the Prophets. In one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins. I look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the age to come. Amen.
